I know V-Day was yesterday but incase any of you have tried to escape the inflated costs and have extended plans into next week and beyond, here is my dramatic valentines smokey eye look.

Nouveau Lashes Strip Lashes really rounded off my makeup and I used the Natural Set in Style 1! Gorgeously fluttery and dark enough to really make the gold and green pop.

The shadows I used were a combo of the Urban Decay Naked Palette and a H&M eye colour for the feature shimmer. Under the eye I used a Charlotte Tilbury Pencil in Enchanting Indigo!

I think for a special occasion you can get away with making your makeup a little more dramatic and for me it's always eyes over lips!
