I absolutely love having my hair done and the bouncy voluminous tresses that my hairdresser can create.. but I always struggle to achieve this at home. I am not skilled at blow drying whatsoever and achieving volume from the root, so when I do my own hair I always feel like it looks a little sad and flat in the front... *sad face*

Long time readers of my blog will remember that once I had a weave, (read the post here) just at the front where my hair was thinner and I loved the effect of it. What I didn't love however was the washing and styling of it - it took FOREVER. I have become most cranky in my old age, especially when my hair is bothering me.

SO. When the wonderful team at ClipHair told me all about their clip ins I was immediately interested to see what I could do with them! I wasn't sure what colour I needed but sent a couple of pics over to the team and the most amazing hair arrived in the post a few days later and was a SPOT ON match.

I had my roots done and a nice curly blow thanks to my gorgey hairdresser Jaymee at Muse Manchester and then curled the hair pieces with my GHD large curling tong and then put in some, but not all of the pieces, as I wanted thickness in the front rather than extending the length of my hair.

I am SO impressed with the hair, how it blends seamlessly with mine and how they look, they are exactly the kind of thing I was after and I have no doubts I will be using them a lot.

I think they are a very reasonable price point for the quality and especially when you look at similar products from other brands.

As well as having the hair clipped in and loose, I also think clip ins can be a great way to style your hair in an updo or curly pony. I was able to pop my hair up into a ponytail, you couldn't see the clips,  it was so easy to do and looked great! Perfect for the Races or Holidays where you need your hair to last.

I am off to Dubai in May and it will be very hot, so at night it will be nice to be able to put my hair up and it still look nice. A massive plus on hair extensions is that they seem to hold a curl much better than my own hair does :)

I would highly recommend ClipHair and they have the biggest shade range I have ever seen!
