GIFT GUIDE: FOR THE BEAUTY GURU

Beauty Gifts Collage

I think it's safe to say that we all know I am beauty obsessed so when I decided to do a few gifts guides this year, I thought I would start with the beauty collection as this was incredibly fun to create!

Suffice to say I would LOVE any of these items and hopefully your loved ones will do too!

TOOLS OF THE TRADE

Christmas usually prompts the brands to bring out the gift sets and many have good deals on brushes and beauty tools. Particular faves of mine include Morphe, Zoeva and Charlotte Tilbury. They are often housed in lovely cases and pouches and generally you get a little more for your money at this time than buying them separately.

BRILLIANT BAUBLES

Christmas gifting can be a great opportunity to try brands that you have wanted to try but not necessarily invest in a full size in case you don't like it or if you want to add to your travel sized product collection for all those holidays we are all going on next year... Space NK, Selfridges and Look Fantastic all have the 'stocking stuffer' sections and I think they can be a great way to give a really luxe gift that doesn't have to break the bank.

SUPER SKIN AND HAIR CARE

As with the beauty baubles, I have loved seeing all the skin care sets that are out there to be had this Christmas - special shout out to the Estee Lauder Skincare Collection which comes with the Elizabeth and Scarlett Constellation Pouch - such a beautiful gift that really anyone would enjoy.

Another great little or large gift to give, depending on budget is the Foreo Skincare Devices. These are amazing at gently cleaning your skin and exfoliating away any dead skin cells. I have LOVED having mine and have definitely noticed a difference in my skin's texture and overall health. There are a range of chargeable and non chargeable options so it is a gift that does suit a variety of budgets.

If your recipient loves to pamper then why not grab a face mask or hair treatment related gift? Check out Sarah Chapman and Philip Kingsley for the ultimate skin and hair treats.

SCENTS REPRESENT

I would imagine most of us have been gifted scents at Christmas as those gift sets which combine the fragrance with a gift with purchase feel that bit more luxurious. Whether it be an atomiser or accompanying body product, it's always great to get that bit more for your money.

Instead of body fragrance, how about room fragrance? A fail safe gift is a candle and you really can spend as much as your budget allows on a lovely gift. From Jo Malone to the White Company and a current personal fave of picking up DW Home Candles from TK Maxx - a gift along these lines is sure to not disappoint.

MERRY MAKEUP

Christmas makeup collections are usually my faves as they are sparkly and fun and often come with a few added extras thrown in... this year is no exception and you really could go wild with all the gorgeous gifts there are on offer!

Charlotte Tilbury always nails makeup gifting and this year is no exception. However, there are definitely some new contenders - Revolution Beauty is killing it this year and the more I try of their products the more impressed I am!

If you want a lot of bang for your buck then the Morphe Palettes are fantastic value and come in a wide variety of colour themes.

What beauty items have made your Christmas wish list this year?
