Neon and fluffy or tie dye, oh my!

It's no secret that 2020 so far is the year of the lounge wear. First, what seemed like the quietest January on record, a rainy February and then lockdown from March, there has never been a better time to invest in those heavenly clothes that feel like Pyjamas but are that bit more acceptable to go out in. You, know on those few occasions that it's ok to do so.

Prior to the last 8 weeks, I had limited loungewear options as if I was in then it seemed silly to have an in-between outfit from work clothes to pjs. Oh, how times have changed. As you may have seen, I am working from home as normal so whilst I am not wearing my usual office attire, I have been making the effort to get dressed into something comfortable but that is ok to be seen on a video conference!

I've included some of my favourite loungewear pieces above, including the gorgeous fluoro sweatshirt from Next, I already have 2 of the 4 colours available in this... whoops! You don't have to spend much and I love that loungewear has had a glow up to include all the lovely colours and fabrics! There was a time when the comfies were not really fashion pieces but the options available have improved extensively!

Perhaps it's as a result of 'airport attire' becoming a search term?!

What are your favourite retailers who are nailing loungewear?

Stay home, comfy and safe all 💖
