In trying to overhaul my diet and break this weightloss plateau I am experiencing, I have tried to incorporate more protein into my diet through using protein powders and shakes.
Some of my favourites are from Smart Protein and the Protein Drinks Company. If I am making a protein including powder, I tend to mix in fruit and either coconut milk or almond milk and I have it either after training or for breakfast. If I need a quick boost before training, I find that the pre-mixed protein milks from the Protein Drinks Company are great.
There are so many stupid theories out there that protein drinks or powders are for body builders and make you bulk up and it couldn't be further from the truth! Protein is an important part of a healthy diet so don't be afraid to get involved!
