Zara re-opens in Manchester!

Receiving the invite to attend the opening of the brand spanking new Zara store in Manchester City Centre was one of those moments that I looked up to the skies and felt pretty damn blessed and thanked my lucky stars for where my little blog has brought me today.

When I then received a poster sized printed invite, the excitement increased and today, despite being pooped, I changed into something a little more suitable for a store opening and headed into Manchester to rub shoulders with the Manchester glam squad.

If you can imagine that pretty much EVERYONE looked like they had kitted themselves out in full Zara glory, much like the beautifully styled mannequins, then you will get an idea about the guys and gals who were in store to celebrate the refurbished space.

With clean lines and AMAZINGLY tidy stock - the OCD shopper in me really enjoyed how perfectly everything was presented, which for those of you who have been to other Zara stores (Trafford Centre I am looking at you!!) will know that at times they can resemble somewhat of a jumble sale. It was really nice to see things in the flesh that I had seen online but had long since been snapped up by keen shoppers for Zara's classic buys but on a more limited budget.

Zara is renowned for their staple pieces season on season and the shop absolutely brings them to life, with the stock seemingly placed very thoughtfully. The shop is genuinely a pleasure to be in and feels like a high end department store. It felt rude to not walk away with one of those 'Dear Manchester' bags and I treated myself to some bargainous leather shorts which I will no doubt feature on here very soon.

The store opens tomorrow so get your elbows sharpened and head on in! Perhaps prepare your bank ahead of your visit though...
